Hey Everyone!
Nothing makes me more excited than getting some new delicious treats in the mail and this is a first one for me. Avon recently came out with their new line of Espira Protein Powder. I was graciously delivered this beautiful package and I was so excited to try this one out for you.
But first, some plant based protein powder for you may be completely different for me. For me I find some plant based protein powder first off does not taste as good as this one I am about to tell you about. I have yet to find one that actually tastes good and this one does! I also have been trying to navigate away from whey protein so trust me when I received this product in the mail I was ecstatic! I know there are a lot of protein powders out there that are full of sugar and fillers that you don’t even know how to pronounce. But when I read the nutrition facts and ingredients on this product, I was really surprised to read that this is a really good one.
Directions (adults) Add 1 scoop (30 g) to 300-350 ml (10 to 12 fl oz) of chilled water or beverage of your choice in a shaker cup or blender and mix for about 5 seconds, immediately before consumption.
If you currently use (or are looking to find) a healthy plant-based protein powder, look no further – this is a great one! I received the Rich chocolate and I am reviewing this one. They also offer a Vanilla flavored one and I am sure it is just as good!
The Protein powder itself is $40.00

I have been using this post workout for the last 2-3 weeks and I have found that I feel so good and recovered after my workouts. The taste is perfection. They nailed it when it comes to taste. I love that I can add water only and the taste is still great, but I mostly use protein powder in my morning smoothies or as an evening snack. One of my favourite ways to drink it is adding either almond or cashew milk.
There are some precautions when taking protein powder: Ensure to drink enough fluid before, during, and after exercise. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have diabetes, gallstones or a gastrointestinal lesion/ulcer, are taking an anticoagulant/blood thinner, anti-inflammatory or antibiotic, are having surgery or for prolonged use. Do not use if you are allergic to plants of the Asteraceae/Compositae/Daisy family or if you have a bile duct obstruction. Hypersensitivity/allergy, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea have been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner.
Overall, I really enjoyed this product, although I totally knew I would, because I love Avon since I can remember. I’m obsessed with a lot of products that Avon produces on the daily and they also have the Vanilla flavoured protein powder and that one is definitely next on my must try list!
Have you tried this new plant based protein from Avon?
Please note, I received this product from PR. All opinions are my own.
