I’m back again for another skincare review! Alya Skin reached out to me and sent me their Australian Native Berries Moisturiser and I couldn’t wait to try it out.
I had seen their products on Instagram before, so I was interested to try it out and see what I thought of it. Of course, you know I had to share my thoughts with all of you!
Australian Native Berries Moisturiser $19.99 (CAD)
Alya Skin is known for their Pink Clay Mask, their products are made in Australia and are vegan and cruelty free (yay!) They are made with Australian clay, which is known to help detoxify and brighten skin. The moisturizer that they sent me is part of a complete skincare bundle which includes an entire cleansing, exfoliating, mask and moisturizing system. (but for this review I only got the moisturiser).
Alya recommends using the moisturizer everyday and suggests rubbing the product lightly on your t-zone, after using the mask. (which again I did not have) It’s safe for all skin types and is packed full of beneficial ingredients such as Macadamia Oil, Vitamin C, Sweet Almond Oil, and Shea Butter. It also contains the bioactive complex of 3 Australian Super Berries that are responsible for restructuring and repairing the skin.
When I tried the moisturiser out for myself, I have to be honest with you guys, I wasn’t impressed with the smell. Scents are important to me, especially when it comes to products that I am using on my face and on my hands. It was very overpowering, and it just wasn’t for me. But the moisturizer itself was very very smoothing to the skin I love how my skin felt, but I wish that I liked the scent because I am a big fan of the ingredients and the packaging. I believe that if it smelled better, or was given the whole skincare package I would really enjoy this moisturizer.
And that’s all my thoughts on the Alya Skin Native Berries Moisturiser!
It’s important to me that I stay honest with my product reviews, even if they aren’t always 100% positive.
If any of you, have tried their products before, I’m interested to hear your thoughts down in the comment section down below.
xoxo,
Leslie
