It’s hard to believe that 2019 has came and gone just like the wind!
How’s everyone feeling about this past year?
I felt like it was a great time to reflect on the lessons I’ve learned so far, and to set a list of intentions for what I wish to create for this upcoming 2020 year!
Here are some lessons I’ve learned for 2019, they’ve really stuck around with me and have given me the freedom to pursue the knowledge that I need to make 2020 my year!
You can’t please everyone. Not everyone is going to like you and thats ok!
Relationships come and go and make sure you treasure the good ones, because relationships should be measured by quality not quantity.
Speak up! Speak Louldy! Stop questioning your truth. Stop quieting your truth. If something is bothering you, make sure you make your voice heard. Only you can speak your truth!
It is completely okay to say no to things that don’t serve you. You don’t have to say sorry for saying no, you don’t have to make excuses, and know that you should not feel regret or bad about saying no. Honor yourself by saying no, and not looking back.
You don’t owe anyone an explanation for how you feel. Don’t let people make you feel bad for feeling this way.
Live your life for yourself, and stop seeking other people’s approval. We spend so much of our precious time worrying about what everyone else thinks. Live your life the way you want it!
Spend more time with people who uplift you and make you feel happiness.
There is room for everyone in any industry. Your time will come… 2020 baby!
Try something that scares you so that you can conquerer and over come it and know that the people around you are cheering for you from the sidelines! That should give you motivation to make a new one goal!
It’s okay to not have life completely figured out. Because none of us really do, and that’s what makes life interesting!
What are some of your favorite things you’ve learned so far in 2019?
What are you creating for yourself to make 2020 your year?
Cheers and Happy New Year!
XOXO,
Leslie
