Hey guys!
I love supporting Canadian creators as much as possible - so when I discovered The Locals here in Winnipeg I was so excited! The Locals is a little marketplace that provides a platform for local businesses to come together and sell their products. It’s a one-stop-shop for supporters to find them all in one place! I’ve got three amazing locally made products that I can’t wait to share with you.
Let’s get into it…
This is the Winnipeg Friends Tote Bag from Everyline Designs. They are a custom apparel printing company in Winnipeg, they are right on McPhillips! This bag is so handy, it’s a canvas tote with tons of room to hold all my shopping. I love to represent Winnipeg anyway I can and this bag is such a fun way to do that! Plus, the Friends theme is so sweet.
I also got the Natural Sunscreen from Unika Cosmetics. It is the first ever natural sunscreen made right here in Manitoba! It boasts an EWG score of 1. If you are new to natural sunscreens, a score of 1 is very good. The sunscreen offers a high level of sun protection with a low level of risk. I love that it is clear of any Zinc Oxide, I stay away from that ingredient in my suncreens and you should, too! I used this sunscreen when my girls and I went to the beach this weekend and I definitely recommend! Tons of natural protection without the greasy feel.
Last thing I picked up was the Manitoba Outline Earrings from Erlenmeyer Designs. I love that these are made from cherry wood, they are so sweet. The maker is actually a science teacher from here in Winnipeg that loves to make engravings and designs on the side! This maker also offers a ton of customized options, you should check them out if you are looking for a unique gift!
